About the event
We’ve been invited to attend Sakura Picnic 2026 as a club, and we’re keen to show up properly.
This is one of Melbourne’s largest gatherings of Asian cars — a relaxed, no-egos, picnic-style event with hundreds of builds, food, coffee, and good people. While it’s traditionally been rooted in Japanese car culture, the event has grown to celebrate the wider Asian scene, and this is a great opportunity for us to represent Korean cars together.
We’ll be attending as a coordinated Korean Cars Melbourne display. That means rolling in together, parking as a group, and showcasing the variety of builds across the community — from clean daily drivers to fully modified cars.
If you’ve ever wanted to put your car on display in a bigger setting, this is one of the easiest and most welcoming ways to do it.
